YOUR SITUATION DOES NOT DEFINE YOU.
When you’re dealing with grief—whether it’s the result of a death, a broken relationship, or a life transition—there can be such a stigma and a profound sense of loneliness associated with your experience. Oftentimes, we become swallowed by the loss...and we feel we might even lose ourselves in the process.
While grief and loss are never what we hope or ask for, they can also create an opportunity—an opportunity for resiliency to overcome fear, for strength to overcome weakness, and for boldness to overcome silence. They can stretch and grow the parts of us that allow us to become stronger, bolder, and to live with more purpose.
Rise Up Counseling Center seeks to provide a safe space for you to navigate through your unexpected journey while also making room for the emerging identity that comes out of that transition process. By providing practical tools and support, we want to help you rise again—and perhaps rise even stronger before. In my own life, I know that while my loss does not define me, it has ultimately created the stronger, more resilient person that I am today. This is my hope for you.
